2. Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI)

ABPI is a simple, painless test comparing the blood pressure in the ankle with the blood pressure in the arm. It is commonly used to diagnose Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and assess the severity of circulation issues in the lower limbs.
 

3. Toe Brachial Pressure Index (TBPI)

TBPI is especially useful in patients where ABPI may be unreliable, such as those with diabetes or chronic kidney disease. This test measures the blood pressure in the toes relative to the arm, providing a more accurate picture of microvascular health.
 

4. Arterial and Venous Doppler Ultrasound / Duplex Scans

These scans provide real-time imaging of blood flow in the arteries and veins. They are essential for diagnosing deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous insufficiency, arterial blockages, and aneurysms.
